Hamid Khoshseear Deprived Of Medical Treatment In Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Extrajudicial deprivation and punitive against “Hamid Khoshseear”, the accused of the case which was so called “Imam Naghi campaign”, that more than two months ago started by the prison ward manager for refusing to attend the prison’s morning ceremony, due to his medical condition, still continues.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), prison officials took his bed and banned him from commute, because he refused to attend prison morning ceremony. This prisoner had said that despite the severity of this punishment and deprivation he still cannot attend the prison morning ceremony due to medical problems.
Also recently, the mother of this prisoner of ward seven in Evin prison, in an interview with Human Rights Activists News Agency, referring to the limitations and exclusions of medicines for this prisoner, had said, “I sent my son safe and healthy to the prison and I want him back as he was.”
Hamid Khoshseear, one of the accused of Imam Naghi campaign, was arrested in June 2013, at 6 a.m., at his father’s house by the security forces on suspicion of involvement in the “campaign of remind the Shiites about Imam Naqi” and issues related to it. He denied the allegations and said that he had no role in the matter, there is neither no evidence provided in this regard.
This prisoner then was held in ward 209 of Evin Prison for more than 4 months and finally was released on bail.  It should be noted that he had been held in solitary confinement for one month, in this ward.
Finally, his case was investigated by Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court, presided by Judge Pir Abbasi and a sentence of 2 years imprisonment was issued for him. The sentence was confirmed by the Appeal Court of Tehran Province.
Hamid Khoshseear went to Evin prison on 29th June 2014, to endure his two-year sentence.
