HRANA News Agency – Bukan’s cement factory in West Azerbaijan province, is shut won due to running out of fuel and 500 workers are unemployed.

According to a report by Zariyan, Mohammad Reza Ehsanfar, Cement Industry Employers Association board member, said: “The law to specify the oil with the price of 70 Thomans to cement factories is not issued yet.”

“The Minister of Industry, Mine and trading issued a call for such an act by the vice president, but so far nothing has come to pass in this area.” He added.

Ali Asghar Nabizadeh, the manager of khoy cement factory also pointed out that: “This cement factory has only fuel supply for 10 more days.”

He said: “Other oil-fired cement factories have been shut down due to the completion of the actual fuel saving.”
