HRANA News Agency – By opening a new case for Ali Moezi his medical treatment process has been stopped.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), after the new charges against Ali Moezi, political prisoner of the central prison in Karaj, attempt to continue his medical treatment has been inconclusive, so far.
Ali Moezi who was diagnosed with prostate problems, bladder and kidney problems and supposed to be sent to a hospital outside the prison to continue his medical treatment, was sent to solitary confinement in Evin prison due to a new case so that his treatment has been postponed.
An informed source regarding this political prisoner’s condition told HRANA’s reporter: “Ali Moezi once was taken to a hospital outside the prison to get treatment for his bladder and according to his doctor’s referral was going to get treatment for his kidneys as well, but due to the new case, he was sent to solitary confinement and after returning to the prison, the prison authorities have refused to send him back to hospital, so far.
According to this source, one of Ali Moezi’s new charges is propaganda against the regime while he was in prison.
The source, citing the absence of lawyer and lack of sufficient information about Ali Moezi’s new charges in his new case, said that; his family’s effort to change his new detention to release on bail has been inconclusive and it is more likely not to release him on the previous deadline.
Ali Moezi had been charged with supporting People’s Mojahein Organization and was sentenced to 4 years imprisonment and before this new case he was supposed to be released in March 2015.
It is to say, this political prisoner who also had been in prison in 1980’s, was never sent on leave during his recent 4 years of imprisonment.  Bottom of Form
