HRANA News Agency – Aziz Sedaghat, Kurdish Koolbar and resident of Soorehchoom village in Sardasht, was killed by the police forces’ direct shot. Another civilians who had nothing to do with the issue was also injured.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Aziz Sedaghat, Kurdish Koolbar and resident of Soorehchoom village in Sardasht, was killed by the police forces’ direct shot.

A close source to this civilians told HRANA’s reporter, “Another person who had nothing to do with this story has also been injured”.

This informed Source added, “Following this incident, people started a protest to show their dissatisfaction which went on till the following morning”.

Koolbars (carriers) are the laborers who are forced to carry goods on border areas for living. Koolbars are mainly in west Azerbaijan, Kurdistan and Kermanshah provinces. They carry goods from unofficial custom points and across the borders, in exchange for a very low wage.
