Arash Sadeghi in Critical Health Condition in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi who has gone on hunger strike in ward 8 of Evin prison since October 24 passed out with 9/6 blood pressure and was under oxygen for an hour in the clinic of prison. Following his critical condition, clinic doctors recommended him to be sent to a hospital, but the political prisoner announced that he would go to the hospital without wearing a uniform and handcuffs and shackles. He is now suffering palpitations, shortness of breath, pain in the kidney and his toenails were bruised.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Arash Sadeghi who has gone on hunger strike in ward 8 of Evin prison since October 24 passed out with 9/6 blood pressure and was under oxygen for an hour in the clinic of prison.
Following the report of clinic on November 22, the permission for sending him to the hospital was issued which Mr. Sadeghi refused due to obligation of wearing a prison uniform and handcuffs and shackles.
He is now suffering palpitations, shortness of breath, pain in the kidney and his toenails were bruised.
The civic activist who is serving his 19 years in prison sentence, has gone on hunger strike since October 24, on protest against his wife’s arrest to serve her 6 years in prison sentence.
