HRANA News Agency – At least three prisoners who had been transferred from Karaj central prison on drug charges, were hanged in Ghezelhesar prison.

Maryam Naghash Zargaran Urgently Transferred to a Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Maryam (Nasim) Naghash Zargaran, political prisoner of women’s ward of Evin, was urgently taken to a hospital but was returned to prison without treatment in a state of unconsciousness on May 29, 2016.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Maryam (Nasim) Naghash Zargaran, political prisoner of women’s ward of Evin prison, who has gone on hunger strike in protest to the lack of attention to her diseases, her case and opposition to her requests of parole and furlough since May 25, 2016, was urgently taken to a hospital but was returned to the prison without treatment in a state of unconsciousness on May 29, 2016. At Least 8 Prisoners on Hunger Strike in Dieferrent Prisons in Iran

HRANA News Agency – At least eight prisoners of conscience namely Ehsan Mazandarani, Jafar Azimzadeh, Maryam Naghash Zargararn, Mohammad Sediq Kaboudvand, Rasoul Razavi, Heshmatollah Tabarzadi, Mohammad Abdollahi and Ayat Mehr Ali Beygloo are still on hunger strike in various prisons in protest to their situations. The physical condition of some of them has deteriorated. On the one hand doctors of Taleghani Hospital are trying to stop Mohammad Sedigh Kaboudvand’s Potassium shortage. On the other hand, Jafar Azimzadeh was transferred to the Shohada Hospital on June 1, 2016 following the deterioration of his condition. Moreover, the prisoners, Arash Mokri and Mohammad Amin Agoshi also were on hunger strike last month, but the continuation or end of their strike is not known.

A Prisoner Died in Rajaei Shahr Prison in Karaj

HRANA News Agency – On June 1, Mojtaba Bigdeli, a prisoner in Rajaee Shahr prison died after a heart failure following lack of medical care.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mojtaba Bigdeli, prisoner of ward number 1of Rajaee Shahr prison died following a heart attack and because of lack of medical care and not being sent to a hospital. Maryam Naghash Zargaran on Hunger Strike in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Maryam (Nasim) Naghash Zargaran, political prisoner of women’s ward of Evin prison has gone on hunger strike in protest to lack of attention to her diseases, her case and opposition to her requests of parole and furlough since May 25, 2016. The Christion refused to go to the visit on May 29, 2016. Following this action most of the others in the ward also refused to go to the visit in support of his appeal.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), despite the critical condition of Maryam (Nasim) Naghash Zargaran, imprisoned Christion in women’s ward of Evin prison, her transfer to a medical center outside of prison is being prevented. Mohammad Abdollahi Goes on Hunger Strike in Urmia Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Abdollahi, death row political prisoner in Central Prison of Urmia who was warned about his sentence, has gone on an unlimited hunger strike to protest at the “unjust” verdict and the way of handling his case since May 29, 2016. This former resident of Bokan city has written an open letter to the Head of Judiciary in this regard, the text of which follows.
