HRANA News Agency – Two prisoners one of whom is said to have been a juvenile offender were hanged in Noshahr on May 31, 2016.

11 Prisoners Executed in Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Eleven prisoners (all 22 to 25 years) were hanged in Rajai Shahr prison on charge of murder on May 25, 2016. One of the prisoners whose identity has been verified by the HRANA, was a juvenile offender and was 16 years old at the time of arrest.

Afshin Sohrabzadeh Transferred to the Hospital again

HRANA News Agency – Afshin Sohrabzadeh, exiled political prisoner in Minab prison who suffers from cancer, was transferred to the hospital out of prison again, in the wake of severity of bleeding but despite the doctor’s opinion about the necessity of hospitalization, he was returned to prison twice without treatment by opposition of the authorities of Minab prison on June 1, 2016.

Afshin Baymani Urgently Transferred to the Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Afshin Baymani, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison who is serving the seventeenth year of his sentence, was urgently transferred to a medical center outside the prison following a heart failure and severe pain in the chest on June 1, 2016.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Afshin Baymani, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison was urgently transferred to the medical center outside Rajai Shahr prison after feeling a sharp pain in the chest and adverse activity of heart after being examined by the doctor of prison. 26 Activists Sentenced to Imprisonment, Lashes and Fine in Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – Despite UN’s objections to lashings in Iran, on May 31, 2016, 26 fans of Tractorsazi FC of Tabriz and protesters to Fitileh program were sentenced to flogging, fines and imprisonment on charge of “disturbing the public peace through participation in clamoring” by Branch 112 of the Criminal Court.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the verdict of flogging, imprisonment and fines for 26 fans of Tractorsazi FC of Tabriz on charge of “disturbing the public peace through participation in clamoring”, was issued. 2 other Christian Released in Rasht / 1 Remain Detained

HRANA News Agency – Two Christian from Rasht with the names of Yasser Mosayebzadeh and Sayeb Fadaee were released on the bail of 1 billion IRR. Though Mohammed Vafadar another arrested Christian remains under detention.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), in a ceremony on 14th May, reverent Yousef Nadarkhani along with his wife, Fatemeh Pasandideh (Tina) and 3 other Christians were arrested in a raid by the Ministry of Intelligence agents to a church in Rasht city. Afshin Sohrabzadeh Returned to the Prison without Proper Treatment

HRANA News Agency – Afshin Sohrabzadeh who had been sent to the hospital urgently was returned to the prison without treatment on the same day. During the recent weeks he has been constantly transferred to the hospital but the authorities have prohibited him from being hospitalized despite doctors’ recommendations.

6 Civil Activists Acquitted of Charges in Urmia

HRANA News Agency – Six Turkish activists were acquitted of the charge of disturbing the stadium order during a football match in Urmia through chanting, by the judge of Branch 1102 of the Criminal Court Branch 1102 of Urmia.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ali Azizi, Yasser Akbari, Sohail Daliri, Milad Mokhtari, Amir Ebrahimlo and Mehdi Mojarab Nia were acquitted of the charge of disturbing the order of the football match between Shahrdai of Urmia and Bank Sarmayeh of Tehran by Branch 110 of the second Criminal Court of Urmia. 3 Christians under Detention in Rasht

HRANA News Agency – Three Christians from Rasht, named Yasser Mosayyibzadeh, Saheb Fadaei and Mohammad Wafadar, are still held in the custody of security forces despite a bail of 1 billion IRR has been determined for them to be released on.
