Atena Farghdani Arrested and Transferred to Shahr-e-Ray Prison

HRANA News Agency – Atena Farghdani who was summoned to revolutionary court last week, was beaten in front of her parents and transferred to Ray (Gharchak of Varamin) prison.

According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Atena Farghdani, civil rights activist, was summoned to branch number 15 of revolutionary court by chief judge Salavati last week, in order to answer the charges of propaganda against the regime, acting against the national security and insulting the parliament members by using the art of drawing. A Report on Mohammad Reza Bagheri’s Situation in Vakil Abad Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Reza Bagheri, law student, has been held in Vakil Abad prison in Mashhad, from 2010, without leaves.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammad Reza Bagheri, master student of law in Azad University of Shirvan, was charged with supporting opposition of Iranian regime, spreading rumors, defaming judicial authorities and intelligence authorities in Bojnoord, and has been sentenced to 9 years in prison and since 2010 has been held in Vakil Abad Prison in Mashhad. Bahai Student Expelled from the University of Mazandaran

HRANA News Agency – Noura Mesami, a Bahai student of software engineering at the University of Mazandaran, has been expelled from the university at the end of her first semester of studies.

According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA),  she had honestly stated her religion as “Bahai” in her application, and was excluded from the end of term examinations.

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Ali (Naser) Hashemi, the nationalist-religious activist and political prisoner of ward number 7 of Evin prison is deprived of proper medical treatment.
According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammad Ali (Naser) Hashemi, the nationalist-religious party’s activist, who has currently been kept in ward number 7 where is dedicated to financial criminals, has been diagnosed with different diseases due to poor nutrition, lack of sleeping and sanitary facilities. Security Forces Prevent Sunni Friday Congregational Prayers

HRANA News Agency – Iranian security forces barred Sunni worshipers from entering a Sunni prayer site in Tehran on Friday 9 January 2015, preventing them from holding congregational Friday prayers.

According to the report published by “Saham” Website, security forces were deployed Friday morning in the Pounak neighborhood of Tehran, where they blocked roads leading to the Sunni prayer site and prevented worshipers from entering the building. 3 Prisoners Hanged in Urmia Prison

HRANA News Agency – 3 prisoners were executed by hanging in the courtyard of Urmia Prison on charge of murder. One of these prisoners was sentenced for political reasons to 5 years in prison, too.

Fakhrodin Faraji Taken to Ward of Prisoners with Infectious Diseases

HRANA News Agency – Fakhrodin Faraji, political prisoner in Tabas prison was transferred to infirmary quarantine ward which is ward of prisoners who suffer from infectious diseases (HIV, Hepatitis).
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Fakhrodin Faraji, political prisoner in Tabas prison, who has been sentenced to 30 years imprisonment, was transferred to infirmary quarantine ward. This ward is for prisoners who suffer from infectious diseases such as HIV and Hepatitis.
