5 prisoners hanged in Rajai Shahr prison, Karaj

HRANA News Agency- Five prisoners who had been accused of murder were executed by hanging in Rajai Shahr prison’s enclosure on Monday, May 19.

4 Sunni teachers fired from their jobs

HRANA News Agency – Three Sunni teachers have been fired from their teaching jobs in the cities of Sardasht and Bukan in the West Azerbaijan province of Iran.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Shoresh Mostafa Zadeh (who has 12 years of teaching experience), Ebrahim Rostami (10 years experience) and Fereydoun Ali Pour (4 years experience), were fired by the Department of Education upon the orders of the Ministry of Intelligence in Bukan. Sunni mosque shut down by security forces

HRANA News Agency – Masjid Rizvanshahr, a Sunni mosque in Talesh, Gilan province, was closed down by Iranian security forces on 19 May 2014.

Said Rezai denied medical treatment

HRANA News Agency – On May 19, Said Rezai, one of the seven Yaran (national facilitators) who are now entering their seventh year in prison, was to be transferred from Raja’i Shahr prison to hospital.

No information about the condition of 5 arrested Christians

HRANA News Agency – The status of Ehsan Sadeghi, Maryam Asadi, Ali Arfa`, Vahid Safi and Amin Mazloomi is still unknown.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), few days ago, Ehsan Sadeghi, Maryam Asadi, Ali Arfa`, Vahid Safi, Amin Mazloomi and two more people were arrested in an attack to a church in south of Tehran, by security forces.

An informed source, based on the available evidence, introduced Mr. Sadeghi and Safi as the Afghan citizens who have been resided in Iran and newly converted to Christianity.

According to this report, some of the new converted to Christianity people who gathered in order to celebrate the Easter in Ms. Asadi’s house were arrested by security forces. The forces did not have uniform and their behavior was very insulting. After the rush, security forces started investigation and capturing books, notes and other educational stuff.

According to the most updated information regarding this case, after numerous follow up and search of some the families of arrestees to the police, the office of intelligence service and judiciaries, they have informed that this arrest was carried out by intelligence fairs of a military organization and just after the end of investigations they would be able to contact them. They have also warned that they should not publicize and interview with anonymous people.

This source added that the family of Mazloomi could talk to their child.

A former student activist arrested in Tehran

HRANA News Agency- Masomeh Gholizadeh, former student and Left Wing activist, was arrested on the 21st May.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Masomeh Gholizadeh, was arrested. She is a philosophy graduate from Allameh Tabatabai University of Tehran and she had been to Turkey for further education. She was detained a short period of time after she came back to Iran. HRANA News Agency- Saber Sheikh Abdullah, a MA last semester student of Tabatabai University, who was arrested in Mahabad is facing with death sentence.

2 fire incidents in the dormitory of Shahr-e-Kord University

HRANA News Agency – While the fire safety and earthquake training exercise were cancelled due to gender segregation the students were at danger in a fire accident on May 14.

A report about three prisoners’ condition in Rajai Shahr prison

HRANA News Agency- Zaniyar Moradi and Hassan Taffah who were transferred to hospital were returned back to the ward due to lack of required arrangement. Also, Saeid Abesdian, other prisoner of conscience, was returned to Hall 12 without full cure.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) in Iran, Zaniyar Moradi who had been called by authorities to be transferred to the court, which caused his family’s worry, was informed the next morning that he will be transferred to Medical Centers outside the prison.
