
HRANA News Agency– Five Iranian Arab activists from Ahwaz who are sentenced to death were transferred to an unknown place.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), five Iranian Arab activists from Ahwaz: Hashem Shabaninejad (a poet, blogger, and teacher of Arabic literature), Hadi Rashedi (a chemistry teacher), Mohammad Ali Amourinejad (a blogger), Seyyed Jaber Alboshokeh and his brother Seyyed Mokhtar Alboshokeh, who were sentenced to death and their verdicts were upheld by the Supreme Court, were transferred to an unknown place and Human Rights Activists fear of their imminent execution.

Seven FATA officers detained in connection with Iranian blogger’s death
HRANA News Agency – Seven police officers from Iran’s Cyber Police (FATA) were detained in Iran, with connection to the death of a local blogger, Sattar Beheshti.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), quoted from ISNA, Judiciary Spokesman and Attorney General Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei said that after interrogation, three of the detained officers were released.

Majid Dori’s Mother: “He Falls Into Comma & Can’t Stand up for Days”
HRANA News Agency – While Majid Dori remains locked up in Behbahan Prison for the last 29 months, his family’s efforts to release him on furlough or transfer him to a prison in Tehran have been unsuccessful.Majid Dori is an imprisoned student expelled from Allameh Tabatabai Univerity (ATU) and exiled to the city of Behbahan in Khuzestan Province.
In an interview with Jaras News, Monaver Hashemi, Majid Dori’s mother, talked about her son’s latest condition and said, “Majid suffers from migraines and anemia.He experiences dizziness before falling into a coma.For 3-4 days at a time, he can’t stand up.We have explained all this to the authorities.Before the Persian New Year, he was taken to see a doctor who ordered a brain scan, but nothing was done.He wasn’t taken for tests or follow-ups.”
Monaver Hashemi added, “When I saw him last time, Majid had caught a cold and was very weak such that he couldn’t talk.When he called later, he sounded better.I have told the Prosecutor about Majid’s physical problems to no avil.We can’t do anything else.We are told that our request for furlough is being considered!It has been four months since Ramadan.Our request is still being considered!I follow up every week, but there is no news.They just tell me they’ll contact me if there is any news.Approximately 20 days ago, we went to Behbahan to see Majid, but since then, we don’t know how he is doing.”
While complaining about the fact that her son hasn’t been given furlough or transferred to a prison in Tehran, Monaver Hashemi said, “We must travel the long distance from Karaj to Behbahan.Unfortunately, we can’t travel this distance every week to see Majid who is also upset about this hardship when he sees us.We have followed up on getting him released on furlough.Majid has been in prison for 29 months now but hasn’t been given even one hour of furlough.We have requested multiple times to transfer him to a prison in Tehran, but our requests have been denied.”
Majid Dori was arrested on July 9, 2009 in his sister’s house in the city of Qazvin located northwest of Tehran.He was charged with the crime of Enmity with God (Moharebeh), acting against national security and disturbing the peace.In December 2009, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison and exiled to Behbahan Prison for five years.
On May 20, 2010, the Appeals Court then reduced this verdict to 6 years in prison but confirmed the order for his exile.In August 2010, without prior notice, prison officials placed Majid Dari in shackles and transferred him to a prison in the city of Behbahan in Khuzestan Province.Since then, Majid Dari has been serving his prison term in exile.

Dairy Manufacturers Demonstrated in Front of Ministry of Industries
HRANA News Agency – Dozens of nation’s dairy producers gathered in front of the Ministry of Industries and Business to protest against the government’s policies and the failure to allocate subsidiaries resulted from the Targeted Plan to the manufacturers.
According to a report by Asr Iran Website, demonstrators gathered in front of the Ministry of Industries and Business building on Monday, October 31, 2011 and shouted slogans.Protestors announced that the Iranian government has failed to pay its debt approximately equivalent to $170,000,000 owed to dairy products manufacturers.
During these protests, a reporter was arrested briefly and his camera was seized.The reporter was released after all of the pictures were deleted from his camera.

Iranian Cleric Mohsen Ghara’ati Blames Women Opposing Polygamy
HRANA News Agency – In his weekly televised lessons aired on IRIB Channel 1, Iranian cleric Mohsen Ghara’ati blamed women for opposing polygamy and standing in the way of their husbands who wish to get a second wife.Hojat-ol-Islam Mohsen Ghara’ati is the head of the Center for the Promotion of Prayers and a Muslim scholar teaching and promoting the Quran.
Referring to men who possess the physical strength and the financial means to have a second wife, Mohsen Ghara’ati said, “If a man has the physical power and the financial resources, if he has two cars, two houses, two cell phones, and two of everything, if he can provide two of everything, when it is time for marriage, women say: No!One God; one wife.”
Mohsen Ghara’ati added, “What does this mean?This means the hell with one million women!If they commit sins, the hell with them!If they burn in hell, the hell with them!This is female jealousy.Women’s envy and resentment cause one million other young females to remain widowed.”
At the end of his televised lesson, Mohsen Ghara’ati concluded, “About twenty years ago, Tehran’s Prosecutor told me that there were 500,000 young widows in Tehran.This was 20 years ago.Right now, there are probably one million young widows in Tehran.”

Search Engines in Iran filter the Word “AIDS”
HRANA News Agency – Dr. Hamid Reza Shaeri, the President of AIDS Society in Iran, said, “In order to stop the spread of HIV virus through sexual intercourse, AIDS education must begin in schools and universities and among the young people.”
In an interview with Khabar Online News Agency, Dr. Hamid Reza Shaeri added, “Since 1996, those infected with the HIV virus have increased in Iran.In 2004, this number reached its peak while the infection spread rapidly amongst drug addicts and prisoners.During the last seven years, the disease has been under control.”
Dr. Hamid Reza Shaeri said, “When the young population in Iran can’t even search for the word “AIDS” on the Internet because this word is being filtered, how do we expect them to know anything and have accurate information about this disease?”
Turkman Music Group Concert Cancelled

HRANA News Agency – Turkman Music Group’s concert scheduled to be held on May 27, 2011 in Talar Andisheh Theater has been cancelled for unknown reasons.
Turkman Music Group is led by the master musician and composer Navid Mosamer originally from the city of Maragheh [in East Azerbaijan Province]. The music played by this band is a compilation of melodies whose origins can be traced to northern Khorasan, southern Azerbaijan and eastern Anatolia. Additionally, Turkman Music Group performs songs of two Iranian ethnic minorities, Qashqai and Qarapapaq.
Turkman Music Group was formed in 2006 and in recent years, has performed a wide range of diverse poems written by poets such as Mohammad Fazoli, Hakim Abulqasam Nabati, Ostad Shahriar and Younis Amare. This music band also utilizes a large number of old poems passed down orally as songs from one generation to another in Turkish regions.
An Eight Year Old Girl Severely Tortured by Her Stepfather

HRANA News Agency – An eight year old girl is now in the hospital as a result of atrocious abuse and torture at the hands of her stepfather.
Dr. Kamran Aghakhani, forensic expert at Rasool Hospital, announced the news and in an interview with Mehr News Agency said, “This eight year old girl was transferred by the emergency division of State Welfare Organization to the burn and reconstruction unit of Motahari Hospital last night.”
Mentioning that he is also the expert in Motahari Hospital, Dr. Kamran Aghakhani further explained, “Unfortunately, due to multiple fractures in both head and arms, we were forced to transfer her to Motahari Hospital.”
In describing the status of this 8 year old girl, Dr. Kamran Aghakhani said, “We witness child abuse a lot, but her condition is not comparable to others. The degree with which she has been abused and tortured is beyond words.”
Referring to two fractures in her head and forearm, the forensic expert added, “There were visible signs of flogging and cigarette burns all over her body such that there wasn’t a spot left unharmed. She told us that she lived with her mother who is a drug addict and her stepfather, and she wasn’t feed anything for four days.”
Emphasizing the importance of disseminating the news of such tragic and painful abuse, Dr. Kamran Aghakhani said, “I ask the media to react to such child abuse and also request from the authorities to deal with the offenders severely.”
Referring to two fractures in her head and forearm, Dr. Kamran Aghakhani explained that in order to heal her burns and fractures, she was examined thoroughly, and x-ray images were taken. He added, “The situation is so tragic that no one can believe what has happened, and you can’t say the person who has abused her has any human traits.”
This girl who lives in the south part of Tehran has been transferred by the emergency division of State Welfare Organization to the hospital.
