HRNA News Agency – Bahareh Hedayat – a Student Activist prisoner – dismissed for a four day sick leave after months of staying in prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), she was discharged from Evin prison for a four day sick leave on Wednesday.
Bahareh Hedayat is a member of “Office for Strengthening Unity”. She is one of the arrested political prisoners who were sentenced to a long imprisonment after the Presidential Election back in year 2009.
The appeal court confirmed her nine and half year imprisonment sentence which is the toughest verdict given to a member of “Islamic Association of Universities” since their establishments.
Nonetheless, her sentence was not finalised by this and she had an extra six month imprisonment added to her previous conviction while she was in prison. Along these lines, her total custody increased to 10 years.
Bahareh Hedayat born in 1981 is a student Activist of Tehran University of Economic Science, a member of “Women’s’ Movement”, a member of “Central Council” and the Spokeswoman for “Office for Strengthening Unity”. She is also a supporter of “Million Petition Campaign of Changing Anti-woman Rules “. Bahareh Hedayat was arrested before on several occasions on June 12th 2006, July 9th 2007, July 13th 2008 and March 21st 2009 for her activities.
