Bahman Khaleghi transferred to clinic of Central Prison of Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – Bahman Khaleghi, political prisoners in Tabriz Central Prison was transferred to the prison’s clinic due relapse and he was hospitalized.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Bahman Khaleghi, political prisoner in Tabriz Central Prison was taken to prison’s clinic due to relapse of gastric disease and recurrence of severe pain in the stomach and he was hospitalized.
In this regard, an informed source told HRANA’s reporter: “Bahman Khaleghi has a history of gastric disease and had taken his medications with him to prison.  But officials seized his medicines as soon as he entered the prison and during the last two months he has not received the appropriate treatment.”
In addition, Bahman Khaleghi also suffers from knee problems, which according to his relatives was occurred due to the torture in the intelligence ministry office.
Bahman Khaleghi was arrested in 2002 in a protest and was convicted to 6 month imprisonment and 6 month suspended prison by the branch one of the Revolutionary Court in Tabriz.
