Behnam Ibrahimzadeh Sentenced To 7 Years And 10 Months In Prison

HRANA News Agency – Behnam Ibeahimzadeh, labour activist and political prisoner, received a new 7 years and 10 months-imprisonment sentence.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam Ibrahimzadeh who has been in prison more than 5 years, was sentenced to another 9 years in prison, following a new trial in last December. This sentence has been reduced to 7 years and 10 months in appeal court and has been transmitted to this prisoner in Rajaei Shahr prison.

Behnam Ibrahimzadeh is a well-known labour and children’s rights activist. He is in prison since 2010 and first was sentenced to 20 years in prison in the revolutionary court, but this sentence was reduced to 5 years on the appeal court.

This activist has to serve more than 7 years after the end of his first 5-years-sentence.
