Another Baha’i citizen was arrested in Shiraz

HRANA News Agency – Yekta Fahanedzh was arrested by Iranian intelligence agents.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), a Baha’i citizen was arrested by security guards Saturday evening of 16 March 2014. Intelligence agents entered her house for the second time by a decree from the State Attorney and after detecting her house they confiscated her books, laptop and personal belongings and arrested her. Sunni prisoner transferred to hospital after condition deteriorates

HRANA News Agency – A Sunni prisoner who was being deprived of adequate medical care in Tehran’s Evin prison was transferred to hospital yesterday after a deterioration in his condition.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Sunni prisoner of conscience Shahram Ahmadi, who is awaiting execution, was transferred to Modarres hospital in Tehran at 5:30pm local time after suffering from excessive kidney bleeding. 2 political prisoners ended their hunger strike

HRANA News Agency – Ali Salan Poor and Gholamreza Khosravi ended their hunger strike, following requests of their fellow inmates.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ali Salan Poor and Gholamreza Khosravi, the political prisoners of ward 350 of Evin prison, ended their hunger strike after 10 days, following requests of their fellow inmates. Shahram Ahmadi still denied medical treatment despite kidney bleeding

HRANA News Agency – A Sunni prisoner of conscience who is awaiting execution in Tehran’s Evin prison is being denied access to adequate medical care, despite suffering from a potentially serious health condition.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Shahram Ahmadi, who has already lost his left kidney whilst imprisoned, has been suffering from an ongoing kidney infection for a number of months without adequate treatment. In recent days, he has reportedly been suffering from bleeding from his remaining kidney. Despite this, prison officials have continued to refuse to transfer him to a prison outside of the hospital to receive proper medical treatment. A political prisoner was sent to hospital

HRANA News Agency – Houtan Dolati, the political prisoner was transferred to Imam Khomeini hospital and was returned back to the prison after examination.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Houtan Dolati, the member of Iran’s National Front Party and president of the Danesh Amokhtegan Association was sent to Imam Khomeini hospital to track his health status and was returned to ward 350 of Evin prison after the necessary examination. Another Sunni convert is arrested in Ahwaz, southwestern Iran

HRANA News Agency – Iran’s crackdown of Sunni converts continues as security forces arrest another convert in southwestern Iran.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), 35-year old Jafar Chaldawi, a Sunni convert from Iran’s Ahwazi Arab minority, was arrested on Monday by agents from the Ministry of Intelligence in the Hay al-Thawra district of Ahwaz, Khuzestan province.
