HRANA News Agency – Nana Badrian and Andre Vartanian, a Christian couple, were arrested in Iran by the intelligence service, in Tehran.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Nana Badrian and Andre Vartanian, Christian couple from Tajikistan were arrested respectively on January 4 and January 14 by the intelligence service forces in Tehran.

A close source to this couple told HRANA’s reporter about this arrest, “Mr. Vartanian is the owner of a building that was used as a church in Tehran, but the reason of the arrest is unclear”.

This informed source emphasized that, “Ms. Badrian, has been transferred to the general women’s ward in Evin after the interrogations in ward 209 in solitary confinement.”
