According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), 10 to 29 of 36 Sunni prisoners who had been transferred to IRGC’s solitary confinements in Rajai Shahr Prison were executed this morning.

The rest of these prisoners are still being kept handcuffed and shackled in solitary confinements. Some minutes ago, after learning about the execution of their fellows, these prisoners began to protest and were beaten violently by the prison guards.

There is no information of the exact number of those who are still in solitary confinements.

At the same time, the Sunni prisoners of hall 7 have gone on hunger strike in protest at these mass-executions.

Right now, the doors of the wards are closed and the warning alarm is to be heard in the prison. Soliman Pirooti is in critical health condition but the authorities do not let him leave the ward.

The situation in the prison is very tense.

According to the latest reports received by HRANA, ward 10 of Rajai Shahr Prison is totally empty of prisoners. Unofficial statistics indicate the execution of between 11 to 29 prisoners, however HRANA has not been able to confirm the exact number yet.

The cases of at least 7 of these prisoners are still in the primary stage and their sentences cannot be executed before the end of trial procedures.

These prisoners were handcuffed, shackled, blindfolded and transferred to an unknown location after an unexampled raid of the prison guards to ward 10 of Rajai Shahr Prison.
