HRANA News Agency – Some minutes ago, the Sunni death row prisoners who are being kept in the IRGC’s solitary confinements in Rajai Shahr Prison after learning about the mass-executions of their fellows began to protest. They were beaten by the prison guard as they were handcuffed and shackled. Other Sunni prisoners in hall 7 have gone on hunger strike. The warning alarm is to be heard in the prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), 10 to 29 of 36 Sunni prisoners who had been transferred to IRGC’s solitary confinements in Rajai Shahr Prison were executed this morning.
The rest of these prisoners are still being kept handcuffed and shackled in solitary confinements. Some minutes ago, after learning about the execution of their fellows, these prisoners began to protest and were beaten violently by the prison guards.
There is no information of the exact number of those who are still in solitary confinements.
At the same time, the Sunni prisoners of hall 7 have gone on hunger strike in protest at these mass-executions.
Right now, the doors of the wards are closed and the warning alarm is to be heard in the prison. Soliman Pirooti is in critical health condition but the authorities do not let him leave the ward.
The situation in the prison is very tense.
According to the latest reports received by HRANA, ward 10 of Rajai Shahr Prison is totally empty of prisoners. Unofficial statistics indicate the execution of between 11 to 29 prisoners, however HRANA has not been able to confirm the exact number yet.
The cases of at least 7 of these prisoners are still in the primary stage and their sentences cannot be executed before the end of trial procedures.
Kave Veisi, Behrouz Shahnazari, Taleb Maleki, Shahram Ahmadi, Kave Sharifi, Arash Sharifi, Varya Ghaderifard, Keyvan Momenifard, Barzan Nasrollahzade, Alem Barmashti, Pourya Mohammadi, Ahmad Nasiri, Edris Nemati, Farzad Honarju, Seyed Shahu Ebrahimi, Mohammad Yavar Rahimi, Bahman Rahimi, Mokhtar Rahimi, Mohammad Gharibi, Farshid Naseri, Mohammad Keyvan Karimi, Amjad Salehi, Omid Peyvand, Ali Mojahedi, Hekmat Sharifi, Omar Abdollahi, Omid Mahmudi, Abdolrahman Sangani and Seyed Jamal Seyed Musavi are the 29 Sunni prisoners whose sentences have been sent to the executive branch.
The other 7 prisoners whose cases are still in the primary stage are: Ghasem Abeste, Davud Abdollahi, Kamran Sheykhe, Khosro Besharat, Ayub Karimi, Anvar Khezri and Farhad Salimi.
Kave Sharifi, one of the death row prisoners had been taken to the hospital after suffering a heart attack but was transferred back to the quarantine of the prison and then to the solitary confinement.
The families of 21 prisoners were summoned to the prison last night to have the last visit with their loves ones.
The yard of the ward had been closed since yesterday morning.
These prisoners were handcuffed, shackled, blindfolded and transferred to an unknown location after an unexampled raid of the prison guards to ward 10 of Rajai Shahr Prison.
