Former Political Prisoners Visited Mehdi Khodaei

HRANA News Agency – In recent days a number of civil activists and former political prisoners from various parties has visited Mehdi Khodaei, a human rights activist who recently was released from prison after spending five and a half years imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), civil activists and former political prisoners, including Emad Bahavar, Mohsen Mirdamadi, Zahra Mojaradi, Abdollah Momeni, Ahmad Reza Yousefi, Abolfazl Ghadiani, Majid Dorri, Fariborz Rais Dana, Bahman Ahmadi Amoui, Jila Bani Yaqoob, Masoud Pedram, Mohammad Davari, Artin Ghazanfari, Milad Fadaei, a group of former student activists of Azad University and numerous other civil activists during a meeting with Mr. Khodaei, congratulated his freedom and praise his resistance  during the five and a half years in prison.
It should be noted that Seyed Mehdi Khodaei, former student activist and secretary of the Islamic Association of University of Shahr Rey and a member of the Human Rights Activists in Iran, who was arrested by the Ministry of Intelligence and the Revolutionary Guards, in 2008 and 2009, and accordingly, based on two separate cases, was charged with gathering and collusion against national security, propaganda against the regime and human rights activities, was sentenced to a total of 7 years imprisonment. He was held in prison from 2nd March 2012 to 5th July this year, for a period of five years imprisonment, and finally by applying Article 134 of the new Criminal Code he was released. Mr. Khodaei has written some educational books, including “Atlas of Human Rights” during his imprisonment.
