Hamidreza Yazdani Returned to Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Hamidreza Yazdani, political prisoner returned to Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hamidreza Yazdani, political prisoner, returned to Evin prison after the end of his furlough.
Hamidreza Yazdani was first arrested on December 27, 2011, for disclosing top-secret letter from supreme leader’s office regarding adding the affix of Imam to Khamenei’s name, and was sent to prison.
He who was temporarily released after few months on the bail of 5000 million IRR, was sentenced to 5 years in prison by judge Salavati on charge of whistleblowing, collusion and acts against the national security, and insulting the supreme leader in 2013.
Hamidreza Yazdani was arrested on April 24, 2014, and transferred to ward number 8 of Evin prison. In October 2014 he received one year pardon.
The brother of Mr. Yazdani died last year due to cancer, and despite multiple requests for furlough and “last visit” with his brother, prison authorities did not accept the requests and he was sent to furlough after 10 days.
Hamidreza Yazdani is currently kept in ward number 8 of Evin prison.
