Hossein Ronaghi Arrested and Transferred to Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Hossein Ronaghi, blogger and cyber activist, who was on conditional release from prison, was detained again after being summoned to Shahid Moghadas branch of court in Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), in the morning of 28th February, Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, blogger and cyber activist whose request for conditional release due to his medical condition and inability to endure his sentence had been accepted on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and he was released from prison, has been re-arrested after being summoned to Shahid Moghadas branch of court in Evin prison for violating the terms of probation and escape and was transferred to the quarantine ward of this prison.
Hossein Ronaghi Maleki had been sentenced to 15 years imprisonment on charges of founding an illegal community and membership in similar groups, by the branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court, presided by Judge Pirabassi. Mr. Ronaghi suffers from intense kidney problems and because of that he was on probation or conditional release.
