Iran Protests: Zabihollah Jamadi Arrested in Abdanan

On February 1, 2023, Zabihollah Jamadi was arrested by security forces in Abdanan and detained in Ilam Prison.

According to HRANA, the news agency of Human Rights Activists, on February 1, 2023, Zabihollah Jamadi, a resident of Abdanan, was arrested at his brother’s house.

Jamadi was, reportedly, taken to Ilam Prison. The reason for his arrest and the allegations are still unknown.

Since the beginning of nationwide protests, over 19600 people, including journalists, artists, lawyers, teachers, students and civil rights activists, have been arrested. So far, over protests, at least 766 people have been sentenced to a total of about 13612 months imprisonment.
