Kamangar Family Under House Arrest

HRANA – After returning home to Kamyaran from Tehran, the intelligence and security forces threatened Kamangar’s family and placed them under house arrest.


According to HRANA, when Kamangar’s family returned home after the judiciary refused to release the bodies of the five political prisoners that were executed on May 9, 2010, the security and intelligence forces threatened and intimidated the family and placed them under house arrest.
Home phone security agents blocked Kamangar family’s phone line and threatened that any communication by telephone (cell phone) will result in their arrest.
Yesterday, upon Kamangar’s family’s arrival at the Evin Prison, the security forces attempted to arrest the Kamangar family but people intervened and prevent the arrest.
