Kazem Barjasteh Released from Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Kazem Barjasteh, political prisoner, was released from ward 350 of Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), by using permission to go on leave, Kazem Barjasteh, political activist, was released from ward 350 of Evin prison.
He had 10 days left of his sentence when he used his leave leading to his freedom.
Kazem Barjasteh, a member of Mousavi’s campaign in 2009, was arrested immediately after his return to Iran in Imam Khomeini International Airport, on February 16, 2014 and was transferred to ward 350 of Evin prison.
Mr. Barjasteh had been sentenced to 5 years imprisonment by the Revolutionary Court, which was reduced on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and eventually he was released after enduring about 3 years imprisonment.
