HRANA News Agency – At least 1 prisoner was executed in Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), at least one prisoner was executed in Ghezelhesar prison on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.

HRANA identified the prisoner as Mohammad Hossain Beheshti.

A close source to his family told HRANA’s reporter, “Mohammad Hossain was in Rajaei Shahr prison for 23 years, and was recently transferred to ward number 7. His prime charge was murder, and his other charge was possession of drugs, for these charges he was transferred to Ghezelhesar prison 2 days before his execution.”
