HRANA News Agency – Majid Moghadam, political prisoner in ward 8 of Evin prispon was released on the bail.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Majid Abedinzadeh Moghadam, who had been held in ward 8 of Evin prison since months ago, was released temporary on the bail until his sentence will be finalized.
Majid Moghadam who had been detained in December last year, was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment by the primitive court and his case was sent to branch 39 of the appeal court, and still his sentence has not been finalized.
According to HRANA’S report, Majid Moghadam had been arrested previously because of participating in the protests after presidential elections in 2009, by the plainclothes forced and had been transferred to “Kahrizak Detention Centre. He had given very detailed evidences about his experiences of that period of time, in a video interview, which is not irrelevant to his recent detention.
