Majid Moghadam Returned to Public Ward after 5 Days in Solitary

HRANA News Agency – Majid Moghadam was returned to the public ward after spending 5 days in solitary confinement.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Majid Moghadam had been transferred to solitary confinement in ward 240, because of being on hunger strike to protest regarding his case’s condition and the bad condition of ward 8. He was returned to ward 8 of Evin prison.
Majid Moghadam was arrested in December 2014, was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment by primitive court and his case was referred to branch 39 of the Court of Appeals and so for, the final sentence has not been issued.
According to HRANA, Majid Moghadam, also previously had been arrested by the plainclothes forces because of taking part in the protests after the presidential elections in 2009, and had been taken to Kahrizak detention center. In an interview he had testified, in details, about this experience through a video, which is not unrelated to his re-arrest.
