Majid Sarhadi and Hamid Fathi Released on the Bail

HRANA News Agency – Majid Sarhadi and Hamid Fathi, who had been accused of collaboration with the Persian-language media abroad, were released from prison on bail after spending 5 months in solitary confinement.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hamid Fathi, broadcasting archive department stuff  in Iran’s official Radio and TV and Majid Sarhadi, documentary filmmaker working in Dubai, who have been accused of illegally providing some of the historical and cultural archives of Iran’s official radio and television to a Persian -English media abroad, , were released temporarily from prison on the bail 0f 500 million Thomans after 5 months in solitary confinement of ward 209 and after being transferred to the quarantine Hall of ward 7.

It needs to be mentioned that, not long ago, Iran’s official television in its news at “8.30”, reported this subject along with stealing historical documents!

However, there is still no precise information available about the charges against these people.
