Masoud Bastani and Mashallah Haeri sent to furlough
HRANA News Agency – Masoud Bastani and Mashallah Haeri two Rajai Shahr political prisoners in Karaj are sent to furlough.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mashallah Haeri an old political prisoner who suffers from a heart condition was sent to medical furlough Sunday afternoon.
Mashallah Haeri, 58 years old, who was in prison in 80s, too had been arrested after the presidential elections in 2009 and was sentenced to 15 years in prison on charge of supporting an opposition group.
He was arrested and returned to prison with his wife while he was on a 6 months medical furlough.
Masoud Bastan the other prisoner of the hall 12 of Rajai Shahr prison was arrested on July 5, 2009 and sentenced to 6 years in prison on charge of was arrested for Gathering and propaganda against the government.
This reformist journalist remained in Evin prison until February 2010, but on January 5, 2010 was transferred from Evin prison to Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj.
