HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Reza Poorshajari, imprisoned blogger, who had been recently released from prison after 4 years, after 38 days was arrested again and he is in Central prison of Karaj now with new cases against him.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), “Mohammad Reza Poorshajari” author of the blog “report to Iran” with a nickname; “Siamak Mehr”, was released from prison on 23^rd August, after spending four years in prison on charges of propaganda against the regime, blasphemy and insulting the supreme leader through his writings in his personal blog.
When he was imprisoned for four years, he had heart attacks, twice, and was affected by many diseases such as swelling of the prostate gland, high blood sugar, kidney stones etc. Also, for the first 8 months in his first arrest, he was held in Revolutionary Guards’ solitary confinement under physical and psychological pressures and interrogations, and he was exiled to Karaj Central prison for more than 2 years and a half, among dangerous prisoners.
Mr. “Ayoub Ebrahimi” prosecutor of branch 12 of the Revolutionary Court, in Karaj, has gone twice to visit Mohammad Reza Poorshajari and in one of this visits which was on 25^th January, the prosecutor has stated that he has got some notes of Mohammad Reza Poorshajari and call conversations between him and his daughter that have been recorded from 2012 which shows Poorshajari has done propaganda against the regime and he is going to have a trial based on these evidences.
His daughter told HRANA’s reporter: “This is the third case against my father that has been opened during this 4 months that he has been rearrested and instead of legal attention to his condition, every time, Ayoub Ebrahimian, the persecutor or Intelligence services’ interrogators try to psychologically put him under pressure with new charges.  However, if my father had done anything wrong, it would diffidently be considered that time, (not now). My father has not done any activities against the Islamic Republic during his short time of freedom and all new cases are totally fakes and inhuman persecution aimed to physically remove him, in prison.”
She also added: “During last several months, Intelligence service has also interrogated our family as well for hours and has threatened them. This is not yet clear for us why intelligence officers have put my father under pressure this time. The only accusation that they can put on my father is attempting to illegally leave the country; however, his arrest was before this probable attempt. He was arrested by 4 armed officers in Urmia city. During this time they have opened several fake cases with unreal charges and the authorities have accused him with activities which have nothing to do with him and these are all just because I am his daughter.”
It is to say, Mohammad Reza Poorshajari is not allowed to be sent to Medical Centres out of prison and he has been deprived of appropriate treatments, as he is in temporary detention.
