Mohammadreza Afshar Released from Rajaei Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mohammadreza Afshar, a Halgheh theosophy coach, was released from Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj by using 4 days of furlough and receiving pardon.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammadreza Afshar who had summoned on phone ‘for discussing few issues’, on Monday June 29, was arrested and transferred to Evin prison. He wass released in less than a year by including his detention time and by using parole.
Mohammadreza Afshar, a Halgheh theosophy coach, was previously charged with sacrilege, illicit financial gain and interfering with medical subjects and sentenced to 3 years in prison and 500 million IRR fines.
A close source to Afshar family confirmed this news and said, “When the parole order was issued it was mentioned that it was conditioned by reimbursement of money and paying the fine, after providing them, he was released”.
This source continued, “First, the fine was 300 million IRR, but later they told that it was a mistake and the real amount of the fine was 500 million IRR”.
