HRANA News Agency – Mohammadreza Alipayam, imprisoned poet was transferred to Tehran Heart hospital.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammadreza Alipayam, the imprisoned poet was transferred to Tehran Heart hospital from Rajaei Shahr prison on Sunday December 27.
Mohammadreza Alipayam is kept in ward number 2 of Rajaei Shahr prison. Ward number 2, which is called Darl-Al-Quran is generally the place for keeping prisoners who receive some promotions like furlough or pardon, in exchange of doing religious practices. Apart from Mr. Alipayam there are other political prisoners that are kept in this ward.
Mohammadreza Alipayam who is publishing his works with the name of Haloo, has multiple arrests in his records, and has been sentenced to one year and three months in prison by branch number 26 of the revolutionary court of Tehran by judge Pirabbasi.
He was charged with propaganda, sacrilege, insulting Ayatollah Khomaini, supreme leader, president and other officials. All of these charges are concluded from his critical and satire poems.
Mohammadreza Alipayam summited himself to Evin prison on April 22, 2015. He was sent first to ward number 8, and then transferred to Rajaei Shahr prison. He is serving his 9^th months in jail.
