Mustafa Gholamnejad Released on the Bail

HRANA News Agency – Mustafa Gholamnejad, social activist was released on the bail of 2 billion IRR from Tabriz prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mustafa Gholamnejad, social activist who had been arrested on May 23, was released on the bail of 2 billion IRR from Tabriz prison on June 16.

Mr. Gholamnejad, philosophy of science graduate of Sharif University of Technology had been arrested on Monday May 23, and transferred to an unknown location.

The social activist was transferred to Tabriz Intelligence Office Detention Center a day after the arrest.

During the earthquake in Ahar and Varzaqan, Mustafa Gholamnejad had helped greatly for the settlement, distribution of food, clothing and medicine among the earthquake victims. He once was arrested along with a number of rescuers during that time.

It is worth mentioning that there is still no information regarding the the charges against Mustafa Gholamnejad.
