HRANA- Journalist and human rights activist Nasour Naghipour has been released after being detained for 110 days. He has been released from Evin Prison until his trial.
Mr. Naghipour was arrested during the sweeping arrest by security forces of human rights activists last March. He has been released on bail from Ward 2A controlled by the Revolutionary Guard.
His lawyer has been unable to gain access to his file throughout his time in detention and his family has not been informed of any specific charges against him.
It is reported that this blogger and activist spent much of his time in solitary confinement and was put under severe pressure to make a televised confession.
Nasour Naghipour, a student of electronics, does not have a criminal history.
