HRANA News Agency – First court session of Omid Dabaghchi Mokri, imprisoned Mahabad’s resident, has been held.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Omid Dabaghchi Mokri was tried in branch number one of the revolutionary court of Mahabad last week, and after denying the laid charges, the judge ordered for presence of the case expert on the next court session.
The Case expert, is a phrase that is used in judiciary for describing intelligence service interrogators.
Omid Dabaghchi Mokri has been charged with collusion with the intention of threatening national security, propaganda against the regime and cooperation with one of the opposition Kurdish parties.
Omid Dabaghchi Mokri was arrested on Friday May 1, coincide with Mahabad’s recent events, at his father’s house by the security forces and was transferred to an unknown location. His personal accessories like PC and hard drive were seized.
Omid Dabaghchi was transferred to Mahabad prison in July and since then he is waiting for his court session.
