Pouria Ibrahimi Released On The Bail

HRANA News Agency – Pouria Ibrahimi, civil rights activist was released on the bail, after 8 months in detention. Mr. Ibrahimi was arrested on June 9, and charged with propaganda against the regime and collusion and acts against the national security.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Pouria Ibrahimi was released on the bail of 70 million Tomans on February 8, from ward number 8 of Evin prison.

Pouria Ibrahim, born in 1995, was arrested along with Ghazaleh Shiri and Shokufeh Azari on June 9, and his court hearing was held on June 17, which charged him with propaganda against the regime and collusion and acts against the national security, in branch number 6 of Evin court.

This civil rights activist, after nearly 20 days in solitary confinement and interrogation in ward number 209 of Evin, was transferred to ward number 8.

His court session was held on December 16, in branch number 26 of the revolutionary court, by judge Ahmadzadeh and without the presence of his lawyer.

Mr. Ibrahimi had formerly been imprisoned in Evin for one year, on charge of propaganda against the regime and was released on May 16, 2013.
