HRANA News Agency – For the third time in the recent weeks, a number of citizens protesting against pumping away the water of Karoon from Ahwaz, gathered on June 2, 2016.
According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on June 2, a number of citizens gathered in front of Kianpars near the bridge of Tabiat of Ahwaz to protest against pumping away the water of Karoon. The protest began at 7 pm and continued till 9 pm.
It is worth mentioning that on May 22, also another protest took place at the same place.
It should be noted that Zakie Hor Naissi, an activist who helped to organized such protests had been arrested recently.
