HRANA News Agency – Close people to Saeed Hossainzadeh have expressed their concern about the health status of the civil rights activist on the 19th day of his hunger strike. Because of different diseases, the doctors of the clinic of Evin prison had issued the intolerance of punishment certificate before and also have warned the prosecutor about the continuation of the current status during the last days.
According to the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Saeed Hossainzadeh has declared a hunger strike since February 19 and said that the strike would continue until he would achieve his demands. “Dispatched to medical leave and implementation of the order of disability to serve” are his demands.
In a letter which is signed by the doctor of Imam Khomeini hospital, it has been written: “The patient must be prohibited from any form of physical activity and severe stress and it is being recommended that the heart advice must be done for the patient due to the cardiac involvement which may prohibit the imprisonment for the patient.”
The clinic of prison had said to Tehran prosecutor’s office in a letter that the continuation of this situation could lead to myocardial infarction, due to “a substantial drop in blood pressure and heart rate and heart problems.” The judicial authorities, due to the letter, asked his family to encourage him to break the strike because, according to them, it would not help.
An informed source said to reporter of HRANA that the security authorities had refused so far to release Saieed Hossainzadeh by illegal intervention, despite the various diseases and the issuing of the certification of intolerance by the forensic.
Saeed Hossainzadeh was arrested in autumn 2015 in his house by the revolutionary guards and was transferred to the solitary confinement of ward 2-A in Evin prison.
He was charged with propaganda against the regime in branch number 28 of the revolutionary court by judge Moghiseh and sentenced to 7 years in prison. This sentence was confirmed by judge Zargar in branch number 36 of the appeal court. This is while the accumulation of these two charges could not be more than 4 years.
Saeed Hossainzadeh is currently serving the second year of his sentence in ward number 7 of Evin prison.
