Sanya Bobnehvich Still Under Interrogation In The Gorgan Intelligence Office

HRANA News Agency – “Sanya Bobnehvich”, detained Croatian-Swedish citizen and resident of Iran, in her last contact with her family talked about her interrogations regarding women issues, also her husband, Mehdi Da’dkhah, with the completion of his interrogations, is in an uncertain condition in detention.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), “Sanya Bobnehvich” who was arrested by the Revolutionary Guards’ Intelligence officers in Gorgan on 22nd December, in her last contact with her family told them that she was under interrogation regarding women issues in Iran. However, according to her close friends and relatives, she has not had any activities in this field.
As well as her husband, Mehdi Da’dkhah (art teacher), who was arrested with her, with the completion of the investigation in Amirabad prison in Gorgan city, is held in an indeterminate situation.
According to the information provided to HRANA, by the time of this news no bail has been issued for these two.
Sanya Bobnehvich, was arrested by the Revolutionary Guards, at her home in Gorgan, on Sunday 22nd December. Security forces as well as arresting her searched her home and confiscated some of her personal belongings. Her husband, Mehdi Da’dkhah, was arrested at the same time.
She is originally Croatian and also has Swedish citizenship and had moved to Iran in 2004.
Sania Bobnehvich, 48, suffers from MS, and is under treatment and is in a very special diet and also in need of special medicines that have been sent from Sweden for her. One of the reasons for her stay in Iran, and not returning to Sweden, is “exposure to the sun on the advice of doctors”.
Last week also two authors; Roozbeh Gilasian and Elaheh Soroshnia were arrested in Gorgan.
There is no information regarding the charges and the reasons for their arrest but it is said that these detainees are under interrogation in Intelligence service office in Gorgan. Authorities and judicial bodies have not given any information about it yet.
