Separate Bails Issued for Arash Sadeghi and Golrokh Irai

HRANA News Agency – A bail has been issued for Arash Sadeghi and his wife Golrokh Irai.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the families of Arash Sadeghi and his wife were informed by the prosecutor that the condition of furlough has been provided and two bails have been issued separately for Arash Sadeghi and his wife Golrokh Irai.
A close source to Sadeghi family told HRANA’s reporters: “The bail of 5000 million IRR has been issued for Golrokh Irai and a bail of 6000 or 7000 million IRR for Arash Sadeghi.”
Arash Sadeghi, political prisoners in ward eight of Evin prison during the past few days due to a sharp drop in blood pressure, severe stomach pain and palpitations and shortness of breath, passed out for about two minutes and then was transferred to the infirmary.
The doctor has expressed his concern about the situation of Arash Sadeghi and asked him to inject serum but Arash Sadeghi opposed and returned to the ward after a few hours.
According to the screening which the doctors had done on Arash Sadeghi on December 26, there is the risk of coma and even his death.
Arash Sadeghi, imprisoned civil rights activist in Evin prison who was on hunger strike, suffered from problems such as a severe drop in blood pressure, severe weight loss and emaciation, heart palpitations and dangerous situation of heart, shortness of breath, nausea, coughing up blood and at some point in the blood, high blood concentrations and the risk of cardiac arrest, risk of coma due to high blood sugar, kidney problems, as well as the risk of gastric perforation and the potential for stomach bleeding in sleep and risk of coma and even his death.
It should be noted, Arash Sadeghi who is held in Hall 10 of ward 8 of Evin prison, after his wife, Golrokh Ebrahimi Irai, was arrested to serve her six-year prison sentence, wrote a letter and announced her arrest as an illegal action and went on hunger strike.
This political prisoner later on, in an open letter mentioned the documented issues of violated rights in the process of arrest, interrogation, trial and sentencing, and then implementing this verdict, in his wife’s case.
Golrokh Ebrahimi Irai was transferred to Evin prison by the security forces without receiving written summons.
