Arash Sadeghi and Golrokh Irai Prevented from Meeting Each Other

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi, prisoner of ward number 350, and Golrokh Irai prisoner of women’s ward in Evin prison are banned from monthly visits based on an arbitrary order of the prosecutor. This ban is applied while Arash Sadeghi is suffering from different diseases following a long term hunger strike, and is still denied by Sarallah corps of revolutionary guards from being transferred to hospital. This illegal deprivation has raised concerns about the health condition of Arash Sadeghi.

Arash Sadeghi Prevented from Being Sent to the Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi civic activist in ward 350 of Evin Prison was prevented from being sent to the hospital despite the dispatch permissions and emphasis of the doctor to examine him due to his refusal of wearing the prison uniform because the uniform was impure. Mr. Sadeghi suffered from chronic inflammatory diseases of the airways (asthma), bleeding in the stomach and intestinal colitis, caused by prolonged hunger strike and lack of hospital treatment. On the other hand, he is prevented from meeting his wife Golrokh Irei who is serving her sentence in women’s ward of Evin prison, by “the prosecutor’s orders”.

Arash Sadeghi; Still in a Critical Health Condition

HRANA News Agency – The physical condition of Arash Sadeghi, civil rights activist in ward 350 of Evin prison, is still critical. Mr. Sadeghi is not able to eat solid food because of the development of ulcers and stomach bleeding and there is no food at the buffet of this ward, which is good for his physical condition. This prisoner suffers from chronic inflammatory diseases of the airways (asthma), bleeding in the stomach and intestinal colitis, due to a long-term hunger strike and lack of hospital treatment, and he is still deprived of medical treatment because of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards representative’s objection. On the other hand, Mr. Sadeghi and his wife, who is in the women’s ward in this prison, are both deprived of visiting each other.

Arash Sadeghi in Critical Health Condition in Evin Prison

HRANA New Agency – Arash Sadeghi, imprisoned civil activist in ward 350 of Evin prison, has advanced stomach bleeding, so that he is “no longer able to eat solid food”. This prisoner, who is suffering from aspiratory chronic inflammation disease (asthma), stomach bleeding and intestinal colitis, caused by long term hunger strike, is still in prison and being deprived of treatment, due to opposing by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.
On the other hand, since several weeks ago, Mr. Sadeghi and his wife, who is in the women’s ward of this prison, have been deprived of meeting each other. Arash Sadeghi Suffers from Intestinal Colitis

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi, civil rights activist, who is imprisoned in ward 350 of Evin prison, and was suffering from Asthma and stomach bleeding, following his long hunger strike, is diagnosed with intestinal colitis as well. Despite approval of the prosecutor, the IRGC still prevent him from being transferred to a hospital and deny his medical furlough.

IRGC Deprives Arash Sadeghi of Proper Medical Treatment

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi, imprisoned civic activist in ward 350 of Evin prison, has got a chronic inflammatory disease of the aspiratory (asthma) and is still suffering from continuous stomach bleeding, however, despite the agreement of the prosecutor, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards still deprive him of going on medical leave and being admitted in hospitals.
A source familier with Arash Sadeghi’s situation told HRANA’s reporter: “Arash is in a critical condition, suffering from asthma and stomach bleeding. Although the prosecutor has agreed with the bail order, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards still deprive him of going on medical leave and being admitted in hospitals. Navid Kamran Prevented from Being Sent to the Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Navid Kamran, political prisoner in ward eight of Evin prison, who suffers from right leg and hand sensory and mobility problems, despite the initial coordination, was prevented from being sent to the hospital because he refused to wear a prison uniform.
According to the report of Human Rights News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Navid Kamran, civil activist who had been imprisoned in 2009, 2010, 2011, also had been arrested on September 6, 2014, along with Arash Sadeghi, Golrokh Irai, and Behnam Mousivand, by the Revolutionary Guards Intelligence Agents, at his workplace and was transferred to ward 2-A of the Revolutionary Guards in Evin prison, and was interrogated and persecuted. Arash Sadeghi Transferred to Ward 350 of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi who had gone on hunger strike, concurrent the re-arrest of Golrokh Irai, his wife, was transferred recently to ward 350 where he has the minimum contact with outside.
According to the report of Human Rights News Agency in Iran (HRANA), this prisoner, who had started his second hunger strike after 71 days of hunger strike in the first go, is in a poor health condition and lack of medical care. Saeid Eghbali Released Temporarily

HRANA News Agency – Saeid Eghbali, civil rights activists, who was arrested along Golrokh Irai, was released after being transferred to ward 2-A of the IRGC. He needs to appear in the court soon, regarding the laid charges.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Saeid Eghbali, civil rights activist was arrested along Golrokh Irai, on January 22, and transferred to ward 2-A in Evin prison.
Mr. Eghbali, who is a friend of Arash Sadeghi and Golrokh Irai, had faced different charges during interrogations in ward 2-A, which is an amalgamation of his posts in social media.
Despite the short time of his detention, interrogators showed him a paper and told him that his case was sent to the court.
Insulting the supreme leader, insulting officials, disregarding orders of Quran and opposing death penalty, supporting security prisoners, being in contact with Shahin Najafi, sacriledge and attending the meetings of mothers of political prisoners and victims of 2009 and executions, are some of the charges against him.
A close source to Saeid Eghbali told HRANA’s reporter, “It is interesting that the case was completed and sent to the court before the arrest was made. Saeid is told that he would be contacted by the court regarding submitting his cellphone, and after that he was released temporarily until his trial session”.
