HRANA News Agency – Shaifullah Noori, political prisoner in ward 8 of Evin prison, who has Afghanistani parents and was born in Iran, has been released on the bail.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Shaifullah Noori was released from ward 8 of Evin prison on a bail of seventy million Tomans, on Tuesday 4th August.
This cyberspace activist was arrested by Ministry of Intelligence officers in June 12, and was transferred to ward 240 and then to ward 209 of Evin prison. He was charged by Branch 3 of the Evin court with propaganda against the regime, insulting the founder of the Islamic Republic and publishing lies in internet. During this period he had no access to a lawyer and after the interrogations; he was transferred to ward 8 of Evin prison.
According to an informed source, the reasons of these charges are his activities in the cyberspace and sharing some contents on his personal Facebook page.
Shafiullah Noori, 21, has Afghani refugee parents and was born in Iran, he is currently released on the bail and is waiting for the trial.
