Soliman Pirooti Returned to Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Soliman Pirooti, Sunni prisoner in Rajai Shahe prison in Karaj who had been taken to the hospital following a heart attack, was returned to the prison on July 28, while the Intelligence Office of Mahabad notified his death in the hospital to his family. His mother and wife are in the hospital after the shock of receiving the false news.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on July 26, Soliman Pirooti, Sunni prisoner in hall 12 of ward 7 of Rajai Shahe prison in Karaj had been taken to hospital following a heart attack and the news of his death in the hospital was notified to his family by the Intelligence Office of Mahabad.
A close source to the prisoners of conscience told HRANA’s reporter: “Although Mr. Pirooti was sent to the hospital but the officials in the Intelligence Office of Mahabad had said to his family that he was sent to hospital too late and died “.
After hearing this false news his mother and wife suffered a nervous shock and loss of blood pressure and were admitted at a medical center in the city of Mahabad but in they were later informed that Soliman Pirooti had returned to the general ward and was alive.
Although Mr. Pirooti has returned to prison, but his condition is not desirable, according to informed sources, the prisoner is still in a poor health condition.
It is worth noting that Soliman Pirooti is held in prison since about 22 months ago with a sentence of 5 years in prison. He was previously denied parole and probation. He is married and has three children.
