Tehran Appeal Court Reduced the Sentences of 4 Civil Rights Activists

HRANA News Agency – The sentences of four civil rights activist, Atena Daemi, Omid Alishenas, Aso Rostami and Ali Nouri were reduced at branch 36 of appeal court from 14, 10, 7 and 7 to 7, 7, 2 and 2 years of imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on August 3, the appeal hearing of four civil rights activist, Atena Daemi, Omid Alishenas, Aso Rostami, Ali Nouri and also Mohammad Hossein Daemi, Atena Daemi’s father was held at Branch 36 of the Appeals Court of Tehran Province. The Appeal Court of 4 Civil Rights Activists Held in Tehran

HRANA News Agency – The appeal hearing for four civil activists; “Atena Daemi, Omid Alishenas, Asuo Rostami, Ali Nouri” and “Mohammad Hossein Daemi” (Atena’s father), was held at Branch 36 of the Appeals Court of Tehran Province.

4 Civil Rights Activists’ Trial Postponed

HRANA News Agency – Because of the absence of two of the three judges as well as the absence of one of the defendants, the hearing of appeal court for civil activists, Atena Daemi, Omid Alishenas, Aso Rostami, Ali Nouri and Mohammad Hossein Daemi (Athena’s father) was postponed to August 3. This hearing was scheduled to be held in Branch 36 of the Appeals Court of Tehran Province on July 5.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the hearing of appeal for civil activists, Atena Daemi, Omid Alishenas, Aso Rostami, Ali Nouri and Mohammad Hossein Daemi (Athena’s father) was cancelled by the absence of two judges as well as the absence of one of the defendants on July 5. The Appeal Court of 4 Civil Rights Activists Will Be Held on July 5th.

HRANA News Agency – July 5, 2016 has been determined as the date of appeal hearing of four civil activist, Atena Daemi, Aso Rostami, Omid Alishenas, Ali Nouri, and also Mohammad Hossein Daemi, Atena Daemi’s father.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on May 5, 2016, the date of appeal hearing of four civil activist was determined and notified at branch 36 of the Tehran appeals court with the presence of Atena Daemi and Omid Alishenas, two of the case’s defendants. HRANA News Agency – Atena Daemi, imprisoned civil rights activist, was released on the bail from Evin prison after sixteen months of detention.

Atena Daemi In The 15th Month Of Detention In Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Atena Daemi’s case is still pending and despite the referral to branch number 36 of the appeal court, due to insufficiency of judges, this case has not been processed yet.

A Report On Atena Daemi’s Situation After 1 Year Of Detention

HRANA News Agency – Atena Daemi, civil activist has been detained in Evin Prison since a year ago while because of psychological pressures due to a long period of solitary confinement, she has got different types of diseases and has been sent to the clinic inside the prison and hospitals outside the prison several times so far.

Atena Daemi Sent To A Hospital For MRI Scan

HRANA News Agency – The result of medical test of Atena Daemi, civil activist who is imprisoned in Evin prison, states that she is not suffering from MS disease and her health problems are caused by stress and psychological pressures. Ms. Daemi is still in an indeterminate state as her trial date has not been allocated yet.
