Aso Rostami Released after Serving His Sentence

HRANA News Agency – Aso Rostami who had been arrested to endure his imprisonment sentence, on December 20, was released at the end of his sentence.

Aso Rostami and Behnam Mosivand in Poor Health Condition

HRANA News Agency – On December 27, Behnam Mosivand was prevented from being transferred to the hospital, due to not wearing “infected” prison clothes, handcuffs and shackls, in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj. Due to his intestinal problems, he was going to have a surgery. Also Aso Rostami was transferred to the clinic of prison due to breathing problems and unconsciousness.

Aso Rostami Transferred to Hall 12 of Ward 4 of Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Aso Rostami, civil rights activist was transferred to Hall 12 in ward 4 of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj on December 6.

Aso Rostami Transferred to Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – While Aso Rostami’s mother was threatened on the phone by a security agent, Mr. Rostami was transferred to Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj on November 4, 2016. Rostami family are extremely concerned about the fate of their child.

The Verdict of Appeal Court of 4 Civil Rights Activists

HRANA News Agency – According to the issued verdict in branch number 36 of the appeal court of Tehran province, by judge Ghomizadeh for 4 civil rights activist, Atena (Fatimah) Daemi, Omid Alishenas, Aso Rostami and Ali Noori, their sentences have been reduced from respectively 14, 10, 7, and 7 to 7, 7, 2 and 2 years.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the appeal court of 4 civil rights activists, Atena (Fatima) Daeimi, Omid Alishenas, Aso Rostami, Ali Noori and Mohammad Hossain Daemi (Atena’s father) was held in branch number 36 of Tehran on August 3, and the verdict was submitted to their lawyers on September 28. Tehran Appeal Court Reduced the Sentences of 4 Civil Rights Activists

HRANA News Agency – The sentences of four civil rights activist, Atena Daemi, Omid Alishenas, Aso Rostami and Ali Nouri were reduced at branch 36 of appeal court from 14, 10, 7 and 7 to 7, 7, 2 and 2 years of imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on August 3, the appeal hearing of four civil rights activist, Atena Daemi, Omid Alishenas, Aso Rostami, Ali Nouri and also Mohammad Hossein Daemi, Atena Daemi’s father was held at Branch 36 of the Appeals Court of Tehran Province. 4 Civil Rights Activists’ Trial Postponed

HRANA News Agency – Because of the absence of two of the three judges as well as the absence of one of the defendants, the hearing of appeal court for civil activists, Atena Daemi, Omid Alishenas, Aso Rostami, Ali Nouri and Mohammad Hossein Daemi (Athena’s father) was postponed to August 3. This hearing was scheduled to be held in Branch 36 of the Appeals Court of Tehran Province on July 5.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the hearing of appeal for civil activists, Atena Daemi, Omid Alishenas, Aso Rostami, Ali Nouri and Mohammad Hossein Daemi (Athena’s father) was cancelled by the absence of two judges as well as the absence of one of the defendants on July 5. HRANA News Agency – July 5, 2016 has been determined as the date of appeal hearing of four civil activist, Atena Daemi, Aso Rostami, Omid Alishenas, Ali Nouri, and also Mohammad Hossein Daemi, Atena Daemi’s father.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on May 5, 2016, the date of appeal hearing of four civil activist was determined and notified at branch 36 of the Tehran appeals court with the presence of Atena Daemi and Omid Alishenas, two of the case’s defendants. Agents Raided Aso Rostami’s Work Place

HRANA News Agency – On March 15, three plainclothes officers went to the workplace of civil and children’s rights activist, Aso Rostami threatening the manager of the non-state training center, and closed his classes without any warrant.

Aso Rostami Released From Evin Prison On The Bail

HRANA News Agency – Aso Rostami, social and civil rights activist, was released from Evin prison after sixteen months of detention.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Aso Rostami, civil rights activist, had been arrested along with several others after a gathering to support Kobani in front of UN office in Tehran, on Wednesday, 8th October 2014, and after a long time in solitary confinement and interrogation, he was transferred to ward 8 of Evin prison.
