3 Activists Sentenced To Imprisonment In Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – Branch number 2 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court in Tabriz issued a verdict in the case of three civil activists named Rasul Razavi, Hossein Rakhshanikia and Sevindik Lotfi, on charges of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran” and “disturbing public opinion” and sentenced each of them to one year imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Imani, chairman of the second branch of the Revolutionary Court in Tabriz, issued a verdict on 21 September and on the charge of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran” suspended six months of their imprisonment for two years, and on the charge of “disturbing public opinion” on the basis of Article 301 of the Code of Criminal Procedure on the lack of jurisdiction, postponed the trial.
