HRANA – At dawn on Sunday, November 1, 2026, a prisoner previously sentenced to death on a murder charge was executed at Adelabad Prison in Shiraz.

According to HRANA, a prisoner was executed at Adelabad Prison in Shiraz. HRANA has identified the prisoner, who was hanged at dawn on Sunday, November 1, as Iman Ashraf.

According to information obtained by HRANA, Mr. Ashraf had previously been arrested on a murder charge and subsequently sentenced to death by a criminal court.

As of the time of this report, the execution has not been officially announced by prison authorities or other relevant institutions.
