Two New Zealand Tourists Leave Iran after Four Months Disappearance

New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern announced that detained New Zealand couple Christopher Richwhite and Bridget Thackwray have been released and left Iran after four months.

Four months ago, these two social media influencers entered Iran from Turkey’s border, and then, they disappeared offline.
So far, Iran authorities had refused to confirm their detention until today when the New Zealand prime minister announced their release after negotiation.

As of yet, the reason for their possible arrest is unknown.
