7 Civil Rights Activists in “not a Proper Situation” in Ardebil Prison

HRANA News Agency – The situation of 7 civil rights activists who are kept in Ardebil prison, has been described as “not proper” in a contact with their family.

According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), 7 Turk (Azeri) civil rights activists named Tohid Amir Amini, Mortaza Parvin, Meisam Jolani, Saeed Sadeghifar, Saleh Pichganlo, Mostafa Parvin and Mohsen Mohsenzadeh who are serving their sentences in the Ardebil prison, complained about the whereabouts and have described their conditions as deplorable and intolerable, in contact with their families. 5 Civil Activists Sentenced To Imprisonment And Lashes In Ardabil

HRANA News Agency – The sentences of three months imprisonment and thirty lashes of 5 civil activists in Ardabil were confirmed by the appeal court. Tohid Amiramini, Saleh Pichganlo, Maisam Julani, Mostafa Parvinjoda and Morteza Parvinjoda were arrested during a football match and after picking up a placard demanding the freedom of a political prisoner.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), these activists picked up a placard on which they had written: “Abbas Lesani, Azerbaijani activist must be released” during a football match between “Shahrdari Ardebil” and “Aluminum Hormozgan”. (more…)
