Siamak Mirzaee Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison and 2 Years Exile

HRANA News Agency – Siamak Mirzaee, security prisoner in Evin Prison, was sentenced to 10 years in prison and two years of exile to Tabas.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Public and Revolutionary Court in Baharestan in Tehran, presided by Judge Hasani, sentenced Siamak Mirzaee Turkish (Azeri) activist to 10 years in prison and two years of exile to Tabas on charge of “forming an illegal group with the aim of disrupting the national security.” (more…)

8 Political Prisoners on Hunger Strike in 3 Different Prisons

HRANA News Agency – Eight political prisoners in Evin prison of Tehran, Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj and central prison of Tabriz have gone on hunger strike. Their condition is reported critical. Vahid Sayadi Nasir, Arash Sadeghi, Ali Shariati and Amir (Ali) Amirgholi all in Evin Prison and Morteza Moradpour in Central Prison of Tabriz. And also Foad Rezazadeh has gone on hunger strike in Rajae Shahr prison in Karaj. On the other hand, Mohammad Ali Taheri’s wife, announced the hunger strike of her husband in interview with HRANA until his freedom. Mehdi Rajabian who was on hunger strike and was released on furlough, is suffering severely from the consequences of this strike. All this while Siamak Mirzaee announced his decision to go on hunger strike.

According to the report of Human Rights Activist News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mohammad Ali Taheri, Vahid Sayadi, Arash Sadeghi, Hossein Rajbian, Amir (Ali) Amirgholi and Morteza Moradpour in Evin prison and central prison of Tabriz and Foad Rezazadeh in Rajae Shahr prison in Karaj have gone on hunger strike since 15 to 56 days ago. A Report on the Latest Situation of Siamak Mirzaee in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – On November 12, Siamak Mirzaee political prisoner, was transferred to quarantine of general ward from ward 209 of Evin prison after 4 months. He was acquitted of “links with foreigners” and currently he is charged with “forming and managing a group to disrupt the country’s security.”

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on November 12, Siamak Mirzaee had announced in a phone contact with his family that he had been transferred to quarantine of general ward from ward 209 of Evin prison after 4 months. (more…)

Siamak Mirzaee’s Detention Order Extended for One More Month

HRANA News Agency – General Court of Golestan of Tehran extended the detention of Siamak Mirzaee in Evin prion for one more month.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on August 15, judge Rajabi announced the extension of Siamak Mirzaee’s detention order to his wife when she referred to the court to follow his situation. (more…)
