Azad Saqqezi Rajai-Shahr Prison in Karaj, Tehran, Iran

HRANA News Agency – Hossein Qaderi, Yousef Moradi and Azad Saqqezi are in prison for more than 15 months and still the court branch to investigate their dossiers is not assigned.

According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Hossein Qaderi, Yousef Moradi and Azad Saqqezi who are from Sarpol Zahab, were arrested in the summer of 2012 and after being in solitary confinement cell of Intelligence, then they were transferred to Rajaie Shahr prison of Karaj.

A source told HRANA reporter “These three Sunni prisoners have not been summoned to the court despite of being in uncertain situation for more than 15 months. Even the court branch to investigate their dossiers is not assigned yet.”

“The long-term detention of the Sunni preachers is one of the suppression methods of the regime against this minority.

The securities arresting the Sunni preachers without any evident and keep them in prison for years, but finally because they cannot accuse them to anything, exonerate the prisoners. Last month 20 Sunni university students were exonerated after 19 months of being under arrest and in uncertain situation. But who and how compensate this withering?”
